The other day I was scrolling through TikTok and a one-minute video came up with a fragment of a TED Talks conference entitled: “Adult bullying: The epidemic no one talks about”. Thinking about this subject, I looked it up on YouTube. I'm sharing it with you to see if it makes you think as much as it does me (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_4uB-j-zgQ)
We often think that bullying is something that happens to children, behaviors typical of childhood, that they do when they are not yet sufficiently aware of their actions. We assume that, as people grow up, common sense and education make these behaviors disappear. But the reality is different.
The man at the conference, Kevin Ward, makes you realize that, as you grow up, the only thing that changes is the context, because these behaviors continue to appear in other forms.
I hope you like it and that it makes you think as much as it did me. Let me know what you think!
