During class last week (14th of May), groups could present something. Personally, I really liked the presentation about social emotional learning by Hannah, Lara and Sophia. Not only was it interesting, but I also liked how their presentation looked. The layout is organised, which makes it very easy to read, and the colours make it cheerful, without being distracting.
The information they gave was very informative and I see myself definitely using it in the future. For example, my self regulation strategies aren’t great at the moment, I have difficulty letting things go when they make me angry. I should work on re-evaluating if something is really that important or accepting that I can’t change something that makes me angry or annoyed.
However, I think that I’m not the only one that needs to learn about these things, but it’s very important for children too. Maybe it would be nice to hang up posters about self regulation and social emotional learning in classrooms for example?
