Taylor, a 16-year-old high school student, receives a laptop from her mother for her birthday. She spends a lot of time online with her friends Samantha and Cheyenne. But when Taylor becomes the victim of cyberbullying and nasty rumors are spread about her, everything changes. Even her friends abandon her. The situation worsens until Samantha saves her from a suicide attempt. Together with her mother and the police, Taylor finds out that Samantha herself has been spreading nasty rumors online, such as “James,” out of anger at Taylor.
After support from a self-help group and the school Principal's encouragement, Taylor regains her self-confidence and returns to school. Samantha, for her part, becomes the target of online hate, but the two friends reunite. Together, they stand up to their critics and win back the support of their classmates. Lindsay, another perpetrator of the bullying, is left voiceless, while Taylor and Samantha remain strong and united.
I think the film is interesting to watch because it shows the effects of bullying and certain ways to overcome it clearly. Even though the end is rather idealized, I think it is a good movie to show in class.

Oh I've watched this in my last year of highschool for a project! It was indeed an interesting movie.
