In my further research on cyberbullying I came past this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ctd75a7_Yw (or see bottom of this article). It’s a short video with the target group being children. In the video it explains what bullying is, what types of bullying there are and what the difference is between bullying and cyberbullying. It explains how cyberbullying can happen and what you can do if you see it happening.
I think it’s a perfect video for children to understand what cyberbullying is. It’s short but very powerful. The video explains the terms with easy understanding words and the use of ‘puppets’ is sure to attract the attention of children. It’s a good conversation starter about cyberbullying to use in class for example. Eventhough the video was posted in 2018, the problem of cyberbullying is still just as relevant.
In conclusion, cyberbullying has been getting more and more throughout the years. It’s important that children are aware of this problem and know what do to about it. The video What's Cyberbullying? From Common sense education (2018) Explains very well to children what cyberbullying is and the dangers that come with it. It’s a very informative and short video that could be used to enlighten children about the subject of cyberbullying.

Thank you for sharing this blog. This video is very clear for children to learn more about bullying, and it also encourages them to report it if they witness this type of harassment. It can be an important tool for schools and teachers to raise awareness among students about this phenomenon.
ReplyDeleteConsidering the findings of this research and how much cyberbullying has increased, it is our collective responsibility to work together to combat bullying, as it is more complex than we might think.
Once again, thank you for sharing!
